Director of Clinical and Scientific Affairs

After completing his MSc in Medical Science (Neuropathology), Murray began a career in drug development. With over 20 years of experience in drug research, he has led the development of pharmaceutical and diagnostic products in a variety of therapeutic areas.

Prior to heading ethica’s clinical research initiatives, Murray was the Director of Clinical Development/Project Management at a publicly listed biotechnology company where he developed core research strategies and programs that moved technologies from the lab into the clinic. And, as an Associate Director at a global pharmaceutical company, he acquired extensive expertise in global drug development/clinical operations, medical marketing, and business development and managed a major international trial that impacted medical practice worldwide.

Murray’s creativity coupled with his unsurpassed knowledge of drug development has broadened ethica’s service offering tremendously. With his thorough understanding of the limitations imposed on a drug’s life cycle, Murray was instrumental in creating ethica’s niche offering in Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT).
